Pukana La

Aloha and thank you for your interest in the Pukana la. The Pukana la (Sunrise) is our newest two bedroom suite at Hale Koolau and is ideal for families or groups of up to six people. The Pukana la is a wonderful "hawaiian style" cottage circa 1930s with a dramatic "wall of windows" in the main living area overlooking the ocean and Hauula Bay. There are ceramic tile floors throughout with a large, open kitchen and dining/living area overlooking the ocean. Enjoy magnificent sun & moon rises over Hau'ula bay from the main living area or from your private oceanfront decks.

Like all of our suites, the Pukana la features warm antique & plantation style furnishings. In the dining room area the original red wood beams have been exposed and creative track lighting illuminates the ceiling. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and a large bath with a tub. The large oceanfront deck has a table, hammock, and plenty of chairs just waiting for real outdoor living.

Our vacation rentals are provided professionally cleaned with fresh towels, bed linen, etc. There is no daily and/or additional cleaning services unless requested. If daily and/or additional cleaning services are requested the charge is $25.00 per cleaning. Otherwise a broom, vacuum, etc. are provided for guests who wish to clean up a little during their stay. A washer and dryer are also provided for your use.

The Pukana la is adjacent to the Ehu Kai (same house) and both are available for rent together at only $299 per night for up to 8 guests. Add $15 per night for each extra person beyond 8 up to a maximum occupancy of 12 guests.
