Welcome to the 4,060 foot Beachfront Vacation rental, with georgeous tropical oceanviews from all the main living areas, located at Malaekahana Bay with the beautiful white sandy beach, on the North Shore of Oahu. This beautiful property was originally an estate for a Hawaiian family. If you're looking for Hawaii as it is enjoyed by Hawaiians, then this is your destination. Sit on the expansive lanai and watch turtles swim with the children, or you can be the only couple on a 3 mile secluded stretch of white sandy beach. The accommodations are luxurious yet practical for a beach vacation.
Located on the island's picturesque Windward side, you'll be happy to discover you're just minutes from great golf, shopping, and all the conveniences, yet only one hour away from the excitement and hustle of Waikiki. One of Oahu's best swimming and body surfing beaches is at your door. Laie, Oahu is the site of the World famous Polynesian Cultural Center and your vacation home is only one mile away. Many Honolulu residents have chosen this wonderful location for their family holidays.
Caretaker on grounds in Cabana. Respects your privacy.
Crescent shaped Malaekahana Bay is rated by Sunset Magazine as one of the best beaches on Oahu. However, it is still a well-hidden jewel. The gentle waves are perfect for boogie boarding. Out towards the ends of the bay are surf areas to enjoy. The wide, white sandy, secluded beach is perfect for evening walks, shell searching, relaxing and viewing. The location is also neighbor to many of Oahu’s best attractions.
If you are coming in July there is Laie Days community festival - last year on July 13th the community had the old fashioned casting of the Hukilau ("Yes we are going to a hukilau, a huki huki huki huki hukilau") which is rare sighting nowadays and there are also usually foodfests and the good old Leonards Malasadas van out for the whole week.
For all you that like to Kereoke there is Kereoke every Thursday 5-8pm at MacDonald's in Laie
