Welcome to Lani Kalakeni is a graciously large, bright, airy, well-appointed, and sparkly-clean home-away-from-home. The living area looks out into a lush, green garden full of all sorts of tropical plants. The the nearby ocean will lull you to sleep in the evenings. There's a king-size bed, a full kitchen with a range, fridge, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee-maker and all the usual items you would expect in your home-away-from-home kitchen.

For your evenings, there's a TV/VCR, Satellite TV, Stereo, CD and tape players, an assortment of video, audio tapes, and CD's, or for those who would rather curl up with a book, there are lots to choose from. Outside the sliding glass doors is a private, screened lanai with a table and chairs. There is off-street parking. For stays of one week or longer, guests have the use of the full laundry at no additional charge.

This really is an awesome place. Kapoho is the warmest, sunniest spot on the Windward side of the Big Island. From your vacation home here you will experience some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets you've ever seen.

Also available for additional guests will be the large, comfortable, bright and airy, second floor Full House that features a complete kitchen, 2 baths. It has a large private lanai that looks out into a beautiful, green garden with lots of tropical flowers, and has a wonderful ocean view. Hale Ho'ola'i featuring a complete kitchen, bath and its own private screened lanai. The lanai looks out into a beautiful, green garden with lots of tropical flowers.

We're on the Hilo side, about a 25 minute drive south of Hilo. Kapoho is the sunniest spot on the Windward (Hilo) side of the Island. Normal weather is beautiful all day with the occasional rain-squall to cool things off, and then it often rains at night to keep your garden fresh and green. We also enjoy what is reputed to be the cleanest air on the planet.
