This luxurious 4 bedroom home is located in secluded Hana, Maui adjacent to an ancient Hawaiian fish pond and beautiful Alua Island. Alhough there is no swimming in the fish pond a short walk to the eastern end of the pond will take you to Koki Beach, a red sand beach with good swimmming, diving and fishing most of the year. A half-mile walk to the west will take you to Hamoa Beach, a black sand beach which was a favorite spot of James Michener. On the back deck is a Jacuzzi with a fantastic view of the mountains and waterfalls. The master bedroom has a king bed; the back bedroom has a queen bed;hall bedroom has two twins; a spacious loft with 2 queen beds serves as a fourth bedroom.
Hale Kilohana is a two hour drive to the other side of Maui where the pace is slow and the scenery is gorgeous. It is truly old time Hawaii. This spacious Hawaiian style home contains 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and is built with open beam ceilings and native hardwoods. Located on an ancient Hawaiian fishpond, it is only a walk of a few hundred feet to Koki and Hamoa, two of Hana's best beaches. The rear deck contains a hot tub with spectacular views of mountain scenery and waterfalls. From the lanai you have a picture postcard view across the fish pond to Alau Island.
