Enjoy "Kauai Waterfalls," a comfortable, convenient rim-front home with hot tub! It is perched at the edge of the Kilauea River Valley, with rare unimpeded views of famous Rainbow Falls - seen in Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc. - the lush "in its natural state" river valley, with a verdant green tropical mountain backdrop.

There is a peek at the ocean from the kitchen window, and Secrets, Kalihiwai, and Rock Quarry Beaches are just five to seven minutes away. If you like to hike, you can access Rock Quarry Beach in 20 to 25 minutes. Also nearby are Anini Beach, Hideaways, Waiakalua (wanna be all alone on a tropical beach?) and the scenic Kilauea Lighthouse, where you can begin a free, guided, pre-arranged tour of the Crater Hill National Wildlife Refuge. Central to Kauai's magnificent North Shore, Kilauea town boasts two wonderful restaurants, two great bakeries, two farmer's markets per week, a gourmet deli, pizza, gift and jewelry and clothing shops, a candle and soap factory/shop, even an old-fashioned single screen cinema, all within walking distance of Kauai Waterfalls Vacation Rental. Nearby is Guava Kai Plantation, where you can enjoy a short tour and free guava juice. To the east is Kapaa (20 minutes), Lihue Airport (40 minutes) and points south and west. Further North (actually in a westerly direction) are Princeville (10 minutes) and Hanalei (15 minutes).

Kauai Waterfalls is a comfortable accommodation with lovely island-style touches. The home can be rented in one of two ways:
1)Just the upstairs, where bamboo flooring adds a tropical warmth to the rental. There is a generous master suite with king bed, a second bedroom with two twin beds (convertible to king), and a second full bath. The kitchen is full and well-equipped, with microwave and dishwasher. Kauai Waterfalls' living room has comfortable overstuffed furniture and a full entertainment center, with cable TV, VCR, CD/Cassette Stereo. The view lanai is made that much more attractive with big hot tub, outdoor dining table, gas barbecue, and porch swing.

2)The second way to rent the house is to add the second master suite downstairs, with a separate bedroom (queen bed), full bath, also with new bamboo flooring thoughout, and its own kitchenette, private lanai, and entertainment center.

The upstairs and downstairs parts of the house, while somewhat private from one another, may be rented as one big 3 bedroom unit, and a larger party will be very happy with the entire house, especially if individual privacy is desired. The downstairs part of the house is NOT rented separately.
