Welcome to Hale Anuenue Li'ili'i or The Little Rainbow House is aptly named because of it's wonderful Hawaiian colors both in the house and beautiful blooming flowers in the yard. Relax on the lanai and enjoy the lush tropical forest and beautifully landscaped gardens on a lava flow dating back to 1840. The hale is convenientely located on a 1/3 of an acre on a corner lot in a quiet subdivision just outside the quaint village of Pahoa. Just A two minute drive to the beautiful Pacific Ocean.
This A-frame house has been completely remodeled in the last year with a relaxed Hawaiian spirit in mind. As you enter the hale, the bright Hawaiian décor and the 2 story cathedral ceiling immediately tell you that this little house is something very special. It has such a warm comfortable feeling, that some days, you may just want to stay at home and relax instead of going out sightseeing. The sliding glass doors that open up onto the lanai that face the front garden from the main living area capture the wonderful ocean trade winds.
The kitchen is an absolute breeze to work in with a new refrigerator and a smooth glass top stove. The master bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed and the loft will also sleep 2 more. There is convenient off street parking with a covered carport.
This beautifully appointed and fully-equipped two bedroom home features privacy and relaxed living while you're in Paradise. Relax in the living room with surround sound stereo, Dish Satelite T.V., and DVD. The house has satellite television along with a high speed internet cable connection in case you want to check the internet or your e-mail (computer is optional).
We're on the Hilo side, about a 20 minute drive south of Hilo between the towns of Keaau and Pahoa. This area is the sunniest spot on the Windward (Hilo) side of the Island. Normal weather is beautiful all day with the occasional rain-squall to cool things off, and then it often rains at night to keep your garden fresh and green. We also enjoy what is reputed to be the cleanest air on the planet.
